A must visit if you appreciate intricate craftsmanship. The vibrant colors and gold details are unlike the more "minimalist" shrines you see elsewhere. I chose to take the thousand stone steps up. We went for a hike a almost an hour hike…

The road up to the shrine offers a stunning view of thousands of Pine trees. The shrine was not crowded upon visit since we went on a typical weekend. Great place to refresh mind and spirit, away from the city.

A beautiful and large temple with an incredible view of the city. But be prepared because the flight of stairs to get to the temple is a bit long.
