This temple is of the Nichiren sect and has a long and distinguished history. It is very charming and wonderful. It is a place to learn the teachings of Buddha.

The carvings on the gates and main hall of this temple are called Edo-bori. You won't find carvings of this caliber anywhere else! They are truly extraordinary!!
