While we were waited for our train, we walked tp this famous shrine. It took us 15 minutes from Mishima Station. The main building was under renovation, and wrapped with pkastic sheets. It has beautiful garden with ponds with carps. Cher…

Beautiful big shrine and garden to walk around. Was there for the summer festival time which is held Aug 15,16,17 every year. Great atmosphere for the festival.

It's a fantastic shrine to visit if you are ever stopping in the Mishima area. It is one of Japan's most prestigious shrines. There are also deers in the east side of the shrine, which we were caught by surprise!
