Beautiful shrine in a bustling city. And beautifully hand drawn goshuin. Please pay your respects first before requesting for a goshuin. There are monthly specials and multiple available super cute goshuins.

Every year on May 15 and 16, portable shrines and karakuri doll floats are paraded around the area during the Wakamiya Festival, and on the 16th, the floats make a round trip to Nagono Shrine. Karakuri doll floats are worth seeing once.

It was such a pleasant encounter to stumble upon this shrine by surprise. The atmosphere was very calming with soft and beautiful sound of furin (wind chimes) singing in the air.
