We’ve visited year after year for the Kawagoe coffee festival. The festival occurs in autumn right when the leaves are near peak, so it is an excellent time to visit the shrine. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in Kawagoe at any time.

Very peaceful area. If you visit during the evening, along the same path of the entrance to another street, you can capture a very beautiful shot of the whole temple, decoration and sunset glow. it's absolutely stunning.
