I lived in OZenji as a student at Keio University but didn't visit the temple until my second year. It was small and very peaceful, tucked away out of sight.

静謐な境内に公園の子供達の歓声が聞こえてきます。籔内さんの禅寺丸はそのイメージでしょうか。兎に角寺域が広く、南の東門（何か書いてて変な気が…(^_^;)西門もあるのですが、それぞれ東・西なの？）から延々と500m位上ってようやく本堂。当寺については川崎市文化財団さんのHPに詳しく（王禅寺さんのHPは、無い？）、中世には「東国の高野山」とも称される道場寺だったとの事で、古絵図にも十軒程の堂坊が。その為か北条・徳川家でも寄進があり、相当な寺領に。こうした経緯からすれば相当な…
