I bought my ticket from the self-service kiosk and spent a meaningful visit learning about Korea’s struggle for independence. Walking through the prison cells, the execution building, and the exercise area made the history feel very real…

Sad part of history that had to be told. Unfortunately many of the exhibits and the movie were only in Korean and Hangul. It was a shame because I felt like I missed out on a lot of the story because I'm weak in Korean/Hangul.

Can come by bus or subway. There is parking and it is suitable for wheelchair. Can buy tickets outside easily. I would recommend a guide as some areas are in Korean only. There is a little cafeteria and souvenir shop. Worth the visit.
