The enormous JZP Catholic Church appears to be modernist but in reality was opened in the 1930’s. Just amazing to look at, but the interior and service are something special.

A church built between 1929 and 1932, designed by Jože Plečnik. Its modern design is defined by a brick exterior and a large, striking clock on the façade, while the interior remains simple and restrained.

This church offers a great design with proponents made from meaningful metaphors and depictions. The newly renovated walls are well painted and all signs are well integrated. I hope that the rest of the square will become open someday too!
