How it works
How is the ranking calculated?+
We use a Bayesian score that blends the average rating with the number of reviews, plus a trend signal (new reviews per month). This keeps a place with 5.0 and 10 reviews from beating a classic with 4.3 and thousands.
Where does the data come from?+
Reviews come from Google Maps. Any city in the world is fetched live on first visit and cached for the next ones.
Can I search several cities at once?+
Yes! In the search, use the “Add” button to put up to 5 cities together and get a single ranking with the best of all of them.
Is the site free?+
Yes, it's completely free to browse. It's supported by ads and booking links.
